Louisville Zoo Introduces Planet Savers presented by Ford Motor Company (Media Release)

The Louisville Zoo, in partnership with Ford Motor Company, is launching Planet Savers: a program encouraging people of all ages to support and nurture compassion for animals and the environment through action. Individuals, schools, nonprofit organizations, after-school clubs and programs, assisted living facilities, resource groups, home-school families and more are invited to join the initiative. Zoo Breaks Ground on Project Supporting Animal Ambassador Expansion (Media Release)

Today, officials from the Louisville Zoo broke ground on a project that will support the growth and development of its Animal Ambassador Program.  Mayor Greenberg joined Louisville Zoo Director Dan Maloney, Deputy Mayor Nicole George, Zoo Foundation Board Chair Becky Phillips, members of the Future Healers Got Zoo Buddies program, Councilman Mulvihill’s Legislative aide Geoff Wohl, former Zoo Director John Walczak, and donors to break ground on the Zoo’s latest construction project.
