The Louisville Zoo is open daily year-round.
Closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Sept. 24, 2018 to March 15, 2019
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (stay until 5 p.m.)

Oct. 4-7, 11-14, 18-21 and 24-28
The Zoo will close early at 3 p.m. (exit by 4 p.m.)
to set-up “The World’s Largest Halloween Party!” presented by Meijer.

March 16 to Sept. 22, 2019
10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (stay until 6 p.m.)

Only with your help can we succeed in saving wildlife and wild places. Each time you visit your Zoo, you aid in this mission. For every general admission ticket sold, $0.25 is contributed, and for every membership $1 is contributed directly to conservation efforts by our conservation partners, who play an integral role in achieving your Zoo’s mission to “Better the Bond Between People and Our Planet.”

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

We’re making progress on the exciting new Snow Leopard Pass & Colobus Crossing exhibits (opening in 2019). As construction continues, watch for detour signs around the Zoo.

Special Notices:

  • The path between Gorilla Forest and Tiger Tundra is closed. Look for directional signs.
  • The rockhopper penguin exhibit is closed for major renovation.
