Camps

All camp groups will have the opportunity to experience the Zoo’s attractions, including the carousel, seasonal exhibits, exclusive experiences and enjoy up-close encounters with our small animal ambassadors!

Zoo Outreach and Distance Learning

Choose from a variety of distance or outreach experiences where the Zoo comes to you! Enjoy the convenience of Distanced Learning Programs where your students will get an up-close look at some of our favorite ambassador animals from the comfort of your classroom! Explore topics like Zoo Careers After School and Animal Chats. Looking for an outreach experience? Try Zoo pop-up science festivals and bring the Zoo to your school or playground for a fun-filled outdoor event.

Peek-a-Zoo presented by PNC Grow Up Great!

Do you like to sing, dance, read stories, count, play and have fun? What if you could do all of that with an animal twist? This series of videos and activities for preschoolers and toddlers teach important skills in a new Zoo way to help kids start school ready to learn.

Wildlife Cameras and Trackers

Track polar bears, peek at some Perigrens or watch wildlife cams from around the world.

Volunteers and Docents

Docents (volunteer teachers) assist the Louisville Zoo Education Department in teaching classes to school groups, sharing information with Zoo visitors, reaching out to our community through outreach programs.
