A Backyard Action Hero (BAH) is a kid who is really into wildlife and habitats and is ready to take action to help protect those in his/her own backyard and in other parts of the world! Each year, the Louisville Zoo produces a colorful and fascinating guidebook to help kids become true Backyard Action Heroes. This 2019-2020 BAH guidebook will be called “Unique Animals: Structures, Functions and Environments” and features the special physical characteristics of species you can find at the Louisville Zoo. Backyard Action Hero is presented by Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc.
