Located near the elephant exhibit. Take a break during your journey with a fantastic dining experience. Our delicious entrées include: new artisan flatbread pizzas, hand-breaded chicken tenders can be found among burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, as well as Kid’s Meals. You can also find a wide variety of snacks, side cups, beverages, hot chocolate and coffee. Visit Outpost on the Edge, our newly expanded deck area, which offers a unique view of the Colobus Crossing exhibit.

The Coop in the Splash Park
Fresh, crispy, hand-breaded perfection — served straight from The Coop! Our food trailer is bringing bold flavors and Kentucky pride to every bite. Meet the Kentuckyaki Chicken Sandwich: a crispy chicken masterpiece drizzled with locally sourced, bourbon barrel-aged Kentuckyaki sauce from Bourbon Barrel Foods. Sweet, savory, smoky — Kentucky flavor at its finest! Located by the Splash Park.

Bomassa Soft Serve near the African Outpost (Seasonal) ─ Cool off with a soft serve ice cream, ICEE and fountain drinks, or grab a quick bite from pretzels, popcorn to cotton candy. Frozen wine and beer is available.
Gorilla Dippin’ Dots near Gorilla Forest (Seasonal) ─ This popular snack comes in a variety of flavors and can be made into sundaes. Or grab a bag of popcorn and cotton candy.
Splash Dippin’ Dots in Splash Park (Seasonal) ─ Located in the Splash Park. If you haven’t tried Dippin’ Dots, here is your chance. It’s a cool novelty and treat that comes in a variety of flavors.
