The Louisville Zoo’s Gift Shops are the perfect place to find unique gifts for any occasion. For the kids, you can choose from our huge selection of plush animals or wide variety of books, games and toys. And if you’re looking for something a little more “grown-up,” we have beautiful jewelry, fun t-shirts and sweatshirts plus a great selection of Fair Trade hand-crafted gifts from exotic locations throughout the world.
Zoo admission/parking fee is not required to shop in the main Gift Store on the front plaza.
Main Gift Shop
Stop by and see the recently renovated Gift Shop on the Front Plaza. This shop has lots of new merchandise including t-shirt designs, a large selection of plush animals and fair trade items. Open year-round during regular zoo hours.
Glacier Run Gift Shop
Everything Arctic, from big to small plush polar and grizzly bears, seals and sea lions. Browse the outdoor shop to buy your Glacier Run souvenirs. Open seasonally.
Congo Trading Shop
You’ll go bananas for all the great gorilla items in this fun shop located at the end of the Sembagari Trace in Gorilla Forest. Keep your eyes on this shop – it will have a makeover this spring and feature lots of fun new selections.Open seasonally
Stop by next to the Splash Park and pick up items you might have forgotten: a towel, sunscreen, a spray fan, a stylish swim diaper and much more. Open seasonally
Health & Guest Services
First Aid Office
Located on the front plaza on the right side of the restroom building. Or contact any Zoo staff member for assistance. If you have an emergency situation, please seek immediate assistance from a Zoo staff member. Do not call 9-1-1. Our staff members are trained to quickly communicate critical details and locations and entry points to emergency personnel to expedite assistance.
Designed with families in mind, these special restrooms are located in Gorilla Forest, the Splash Park and also in the main restroom building on the front plaza.
Nursing mothers can find privacy in the first aid office on the front plaza if desired.
