The popular summer fundraiser has been upgraded.

One of the city’s most unique and popular beer and wine tasting events has been upgraded! A refreshed Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too!, coordinated and hosted by Friends of the Louisville Zoo, debuts at the Zoo on Saturday, August 26.

The Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too! fundraising event will feature an all-inclusive, VIP guest experience for everyone. Attendees can expect plenty of delectable catered food, delicious beverage tastings, animal encounters, special engagements with zookeeper staff, and special late-night food bites. They will also enjoy live music, oversized lawn games, and a silent disco in the Zoo’s shaded Islands habitat area alongside orangutans, tigers and more!

“Brew at the Zoo has grown up! For anyone who has fond memories of the Zoo or simply appreciates the value it brings to our region and would like to help wildlife, this is the event for you!” said Chad Dobbins, president of the Friends of the Louisville Zoo Board. “Our planning committee evaluated the local event scene and talked with donors, partners and past event guests and believe we are providing an unrivaled opportunity for attendees to enjoy themselves while supporting the great work of the Zoo and their dedicated team. “

Unlike any other beer, food and wine tasting fundraiser in town, Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too! offers the exclusive opportunity to celebrate wildlife and join like-minded adults who share a passion for animals — and food, beer and wine, too! —  to raise funds for the advancement of special Zoo projects and initiatives that support species conservation and education.
