The students from Cane Run continued to work hard and work smart on Thursday at School at the Zoo.

Mrs. Moore’s students spend the day learning about producers/photosynthesis and different types of consumers (carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores). They visited the commissary kitchen and boma petting zoo on their Zoo walk. Mrs. Coleman White’s students spent the day in our Glacier Run classroom and were introduced to the topic of “BIOMIMICRY” and how humans have historically been inspired by nature. They began to look at animals and how animals solve problems using their structures. This group also saw bear, tiger and sea lion trainings today.
