Fathers get FREE Louisville Zoo admission on Father’s Day — Sunday, June 19 — courtesy of Ford Motor Company as part of June at the Zoo presented by Ford Motor Company. Father’s Day will include Zoo keeper talks about fathers in the wild.

Great Clips Friday Night Movie Night
Featuring: Marvel’s “The Avengers”
Field opens at 5 p.m.; movie begins at sundown in the Oasis Field
Enjoy a movie under the stars at the wildest theater in town. Watch your favorite movies on our giant inflatable screen. Arrive early for special drawings and fun giveaways courtesy of Great Clips staff. Meet and greet Marvel’s Iron Man before the show starting at 5 p.m. Be sure to bring your camera! Snacks and other refreshments will be available for purchase. Don’t forget to pack your blanket or lawn chairs. Movie nights are FREE to Zoo members and with Zoo admission. Admission is just $5 per person after 5 p.m. for non-members.

Papa John’s Splash Park Opens
The reopening of Papa John’s Splash Park always signifies the arrival of the full summer season. This nautically-themed water play area features a fishing boat for kids to climb, dump buckets and mini water slides — over 40 ways to get wet — so kids can get as wet as they want. Papa John’s Splash Park is free with Zoo admission or Zoo membership and is open daily now through Labor Day (weather permitting). It closes 30 minutes before the Zoo closes each evening. Louisville Zoo members can participate in member-only mornings on weekdays in June and July from until 11 a.m.
Summer Twilight Hours – Special New Admission Rates
Extended summer Twilight Hours in June and July allow families to spend more time at the Louisville Zoo during the cooler part of the day. The Zoo will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings in June and July until 7 p.m. (stay until 8 p.m.). New Twilight Hours admission rates after 5 p.m. are $9.95 (Adults 12 – 59) and $6.95 (Children ages 3 – 11 & Seniors).
The Zoo closes early at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 for the annual Zoofari! fundraiser.
