Of all Louisville’s many wonderful attractions, nothing seems to capture the hearts and minds of children as much as the Louisville Zoo. A visit to the Zoo helps to bring classroom lessons to life for students.  Following a recent visit, one teacher wrote:

“Every year, there are a handful of students who have never been to the Zoo. This year, when I announced the trip, a little boy rushed forward and hugged me, exclaiming, ‘I’ve never been to the Zoo! Thank you! Thank you!’ He knows what the Zoo is, but his family has never been able to go.  At least half of my class would be unable to pay for the trip without assistance from Zoo Kids, Inc.”

Partner Benefits

Zoo Kids, Inc. was created to provide underprivileged children, living within our region, the opportunity to experience what most children get to do, visit the Zoo. Giving them the chance to see firsthand the true size of an elephant, look into the eyes of a gorilla, or hear a lion roar.  With support from partners like you, we are able to offset the cost of admission for these children and offer these Zoo Kids a unique, educational experience and a chance to create memories that last well after the field trip ends. Please consider supporting this important program by becoming a community partner today.

Benefit Levels

  • Field trip admission for 1,000 students.
    No benefits for the donor; fully tax deductible.
    OR
    Field trip admission for 590 sponsored students.
    Includes the following benefits for the donor:
    • 1 Behind the scenes tour
    • 1 ADOPTS package
    • $250 credit toward space rental at the Zoo
    • 30 Zoo admission passes
    • 30 Boo at the Zoo tickets
    • 30 Carousel passes
    • 30 Lorikeet feeding tickets

  • Field trip admission for 500 students.
    No benefits for the donor; fully tax deductible.
    OR
    Field trip admission for 295 sponsored students.
    Includes the following benefits for the donor:
    • 1 ADOPTS package
    • $100 credit toward space rental at the Zoo
    • 20 Zoo admission passes
    • 20 Boo at the Zoo tickets
    • 20 Carousel passes
    • 20 Lorikeet feeding tickets

  • Field trip admission for 200 students. No benefits for
    donor; fully tax deductible.
    OR
    Field trip admission for 100 sponsored students.
    Includes the following benefits for the donor:
    • 1 ADOPTS package
    • 10 Zoo admission passes
    • 10 Boo at the Zoo tickets
    • 10 Carousel passes
    • 10 Lorikeet feeding tickets

  • Field trip admission for 100 students sponsored. No benefits
    for donor; fully tax deductible.
    OR
    Field trip admission for 55 sponsored students.
    Includes the following benefits for the donor:
    • 10 Zoo admission passes
    • 5 Carousel passes
    • 5 Lorikeet feeding tickets
