We have another reason to celebrate! Your Zoo’s School at the Zoo program has been selected as recipient of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) 2013 Significant Achievement Award. This accolade is the second award in two years that your Zoo has received for program and exhibit excellence.

In 2012, the Louisville Zoo’s Glacier Run was named Top Exhibit in North America. As we celebrate this new achievement as well as 45 years as an esteemed attraction in the Kentuckiana region, we have you to thank for this success. Your support of our various initiatives has made these accomplishments possible. It takes significant resources, time and energy to sustain the excellence that makes the Louisville Zoo a wonderful regional asset and source of pride for our community.

The Annual Fund is a cornerstone of our operating budget, underwriting first-rate animal care and enrichment programs, as well as educational offerings for thousands of under-served youth in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Your contributions defray costs for well-being and diets of our animal ambassadors, while helping us provide a safe environment for our Zoo staff and guests.
