What an exciting (slightly warmer!) day at School at the Zoo.

Ms. Diane’s group spent the day at Glacier Run. They got to see three keeper trainings up close: bear, tiger, and sea lion!  They also enjoyed visiting Lorikeet Landing and learning about biomimicry in our Glacier Run classroom.

Ms. Kathleen’s group learned about ecosystems today. They enjoyed seeing the bearded dragon and armadillo in class (and watching them eat some delicious meal worms).  They also solved some “ecosystem mystery” puzzles in the HerpAquarium while observing some of our Zoo’s most interesting fish, reptiles, and amphibians.
