School at the Zoo students from Roosevelt Perry Elementary School had another great day! We had a threat of rain, but, thankfully, it held off.

It was Mrs. Kathleen’s class’s turn to spend the day in Glacier Run. They saw a chinchilla and gecko in class and enjoyed watching bear and tiger training demonstrations.   

Mrs. Karen’s class saw a black kingsnake, rabbit and a tegu lizard in class while learning about producers and consumers. They visited the Animal Commissary and walked to “Africa” to see giraffes, lions, elephants, goats, and more!
