Early Childhood Pop-Up Programs
FREE with Zoo admission or membership.
Perfect for young learners, these pop-up programs invite families and their children to play, observe and learn in new ways all while visiting the Zoo! Use your imagination during free play in the Cub House, gather around for a story reading, or go on a Zoo quest to learn more about our world.
Animal Tales
Join us this summer to hear a story and test your animal imitation skills with a movement activity! Guests can join us EVERY Tuesday mornings at the MetaZoo Stage or Flamingo Yard. We’ll start with a movement book and then read 1 or 2 animal centered stories.
| TUESDAYS | 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. | MetaZoo Stage | SCHEDULED |
Zoo Quest
While you get wild at the Zoo this summer why don’t you challenge yourself with a Zoo Quest? Stop by our Zoo Quest challenge table in the Islands Zone EVERY Tuesday this summer and complete a quest to earn a zoo sticker. Once you’ve completed all our challenges you’ll earn a special zoo quest champion sticker! Zoo Quest challenges are designed for early childhood (ages 0 to 8) zoo friends and will test your observational and gross motor skills.
