Gorilla Kindi looking into camera

KINDI will be ON exhibit.

Western lowland gorilla Kindi was born on March 14, 2016. She weighed only 3 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 14 inches tall. Kindi continues to grow and is currently living with her surrogate mother Kweli.

Now Open!

Come view the intricate and beautiful webs these beneficial insects weave. This popular 1,000 sq. ft. walk-through spider house lets you stroll alongside the spiders and their webs without any barriers. Free during regular Zoo hours.

During the Halloween Party, a special guided tour will introduce you to these artful arachnids ($2 ticket).

California Sea Lion
Our behind-the-scenes program offers your small group exclusive access to exhibit areas rarely seen by the general public. All tours and experiences are led by passionate Zoo staffers and keepers. Create special memories while learning more about your Zoo, animal behavior, enrichment and how to help protect endangered species. Packages include parking and Zoo admission for everyone in your group on the day of your experience.

The nautically-themed water play area has 42 unique ways for kids to get as wet as they want! It includes a fishing boat to climb on, dump buckets, jelly jet launchers, mini water slides and much more. Designed with safe family fun in mind, it’s a really cool place to beat the heat.
