SANTA’S SAFARI

     December 7 –8 & 14 –15
     Sessions at 10 a.m., Noon and 2 p.m.

Special Ticket Required. Santa is making a special stop by the Louisville Zoo and he’s bringing some of his North Pole friends along too. Meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman. Create a wonderful holiday craft. Enjoy Mrs. Claus’s holiday treats and beverages. Each child will receive a complimentary photo with Santa to take home. Sponsored by The MacDonald Family.

MEET GORILLA KINDI

KINDI will be ON exhibit.

Western lowland gorilla Kindi was born on March 14, 2016. She weighed only 3 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 14 inches tall. Kindi continues to grow and is currently living with her surrogate mother Kweli.

African Elephant

Visit Africa (featuring the award-winning Gorilla Forest), Australia, the Islands, the Americas as well as Glacier Run. Don’t forget to stop by the HerpAquarium featuring King Louie the white alligator.

Get an up-close interaction with wildlife!  There are a wide variety of opportunities at the Zoo including camel & pony rides, the Boma African Petting Zoo and Lorikeet Landing. Some activities do require an extra fee.

SPLASH PARK

Closed for the Season.

The nautically-themed water play area has 42 unique ways for kids to get as wet as they want! It includes a fishing boat to climb on, dump buckets, jelly jet launchers, mini water slides and much more. Designed with safe family fun in mind, it’s a really cool place to beat the heat.
