Closed only on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

The Louisville Zoo admission pricing is based on weather predictions, demand, capacity and other factors. Prices update at midnight each day.  Purchase in advance for the lowest price. Prices will not decrease.

WILD LIGHTS: ASIAN LANTERN FESTIVAL

July 9 – August, 28, 2020, Thursday – Sunday.

Enter at 7:30 – 9:30 PM. Exit by 11 p.m.
Must reserve tickets online in advance to attend.

  • See the Zoo in a whole new light at one of the largest lantern displays in the nation.
  • Enjoy more than 2,000 intricate lanterns in 65 larger-than-life scenes on a 1.4 mile trail.
  • See a 130-foot-long dragon, walk ­through shark tunnel, fairy tree and so much more!

BEHIND-THE-SCENES TOURS

California Sea Lion
In an abundance of caution to protect the health of our staff, animals, and valued guests during the COVID-19 pandemic, behind-the-scenes tours are temporarily suspended.

Our behind-the-scenes program offers your small group exclusive access to exhibit areas rarely seen by the general public. All tours and experiences are led by passionate Zoo staffers and keepers. Create special memories while learning more about your Zoo, animal behavior, enrichment and how to help protect endangered species. Packages include parking and Zoo admission for everyone in your group on the day of your experience.

For every general admission ticket sold, $0.25 is contributed, and for every membership $1 is contributed directly to conservation efforts by our conservation partners, who play an integral role in achieving your Zoo’s mission to “Better the Bond Between People and Our Planet.”
