Louisville Zoo Offers Veterans Free Admission on Veterans Day

To honor those who are serving and who have served our country in military service, the Louisville Zoo is offering active and retired military and their dependents FREE general admission on Veterans Day — Wednesday, November 11. Those wishing to participate should bring a military identification card and present it at the Zoo’s admission windows.

Military families will also receive 50% off food and beverage and 10% off retail in the Zoo’s gift shops on Wednesday, November 11. Those wishing to participate should bring a military identification card and present it at the point of purchase.

Active military receive free admission year-round at the Zoo. Active military dependents and retired military receive 10% off admission year-round. Military personnel are encouraged to check with the Leisure Travel offices at their bases in advance of their visit for other available discounts.

The Zoo is open daily year round. Fall/winter hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (exit by 5 p.m.) through March 11, 2016. The Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. For more information, visit LouisvilleZoo.org.
