The Louisville Zoo is open almost every day throughout the year, and winter is no exception. Come enjoy a seasonal adventure filled with animal encounters and cozy indoor escapes.  The Zoo is open year round. We only close on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Days.

Zoo members enjoy 10% off select merchandise. The Main Plaza Gift Shop is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day). Admission is not required to shop.

Give back and Clear Out

Upgrading this holiday season?  Let some of your old items do some good! Recycle electronics through ECO-CELL to support gorilla conservation by reducing demand for coltan and funding habitat protection and education. Have Shoes you no longer need?
