Gorilla Forest Supervisor and Assistant Mammal Curator Jill Katka gives Mia one of her weekly ultrasounds. The ultrasound indicates that things are on target for a May 2016 arrival. Katka tells us that Mia sometimes doesn’t seem to like the sensation of the gel on her lower belly. She sure seemed to like the yogurt that Katka was giving her during the ultrasound today, however.
