The Friends of the Louisville Zoo, together with Zoo leadership, has decided it is in the best interest of the community and entire region to cancel Zoofari! One Wild Night scheduled for June 13, 2020. While there have been no known cases of exposure to COVID-19 at the Zoo, protecting the health of our visitors, volunteers, staff and the animals is our top priority. For those who have purchased tickets for Zoofari! 2020, a member of the Friends of the Louisville Zoo will be contacting them directly.

The Friends of the Zoo are greatly appreciative of Zoofari! 2020’s presenting sponsor Brown-Forman and the many other generous donors who have reallocated their Zoofari! donations and ticket fees to support the immediate needs of the Zoo during this critical time.

Since closing on March 17, 2020, Louisville Zoo team members have continued to provide for the daily needs of the animals and your Zoo. All essential staff working on-site are practicing safe social distancing and following the steps outlined by Louisville Metro Government and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Through these additional safety measures, staff is staying healthy and the animals are doing well.
