Join us at the 42nd annual Zoofari! on Saturday, June 10, 2023 presented by Brown-Forman. This year’s “Cool Island Breezes” themed event includes specialty appetizers, cocktails and animal encounters in the Islands exhibit area of the Louisville Zoo where you might catch a glimpse of the elusive Sumatran tiger, Little Blue penguins, orangutans, siamangs, the Malayan tapirs and colorful birds. You will also experience the Zoo’s Oasis event field for live music, dancing, silent and live auctions and more.
About Zoofari! Zoofari! is hosted by the Friends of the Louisville Zoo board and celebrates philanthropy and what makes the Zoo a statewide and regional treasure. Proceeds from this year’s event will support renovations to the Zoo’s MetaZoo education facility and the Animal Ambassador Program. Your Zoofari! involvement will simultaneously provide outstanding animal welfare and compelling guest experiences that introduce or enhance an individual’s connection to animals and the planet.

Ticket Levels
- Zoofari! Mix & Mingle Reception, 8-11 p.m. ($125): Includes animal encounters, cocktails and heavy appetizers in the Islands area of the Zoo starting at 8 p.m. Live music by Cover Me Badd, late night bites, dancing and more will occur in the Oasis event field area until 11 p.m.
- Friends of the Zoo Summer Event Series Pass ($225): For all things summer fun, don’t miss Friends of the Louisville Zoo’s summer event series pass including access for both Zoofari! (June 10, 2023) and Brew at the Zoo, Wine and Food, Too! (August 26, 2023). This is your opportunity to guarantee your admission to Zoofari! and Brew at a special early bird rate. Brew tickets are all-inclusive with beer and wine tastings, appetizers, animal encounters, live entertainment and special food treats.

Consider attending the Zoofari! dinner, auction and cocktail reception. Sponsorships, tables and tickets are still available for the Zoofari! dinner and live auction (beginning at 6 p.m., prior to the Mix & Mingle reception). Safety and weather guidelines: All guests attending Friends of the Louisville Zoo events must be age 21 and older. The Friends of the Louisville Zoo want to ensure all guests have a fun and safe experience and will follow all applicable safety and health guidelines in place at the time of the event. Zoofari! and Brew are outdoor events and take place rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to please plan accordingly.
Refunds: All sales are final and nonrefundable unless the Friends of the Louisville Zoo cancel the event due to extreme weather, in which case tickets will be refunded. Guests may transfer their ticket to another person and should contact the Friends of the Louisville Zoo at FriendsoftheLouisvilleZoo@gmail.com.
