Zoofari! 2021 – Silent Auction Closes!

Join the Friends of the Louisville Zoo for Zoofari! 2021, their premier annual fundraiser benefiting the Louisville Zoo. This year, the event will have a new format to accommodate continually evolving COVID-19 guidelines; however, the opportunities will be as outstanding as ever for you to have fun with friends and family while supporting the Zoo!
Zoo fans and community members can participate in the event via a silent auction and by reserving an exclusive Zoofari! Mix & Mingle take-home box to celebrate on their own.
Zoofari! Mix & Mingle boxes may be reserved online starting on May 19 with pick-up options at the Zoo in June. All boxes will include an opportunity to be entered to win a Wild Safari Walk or Animal Experience. If boxes are reserved prior to May 26, one additional enter-to-win ticket and a plush sloth will be included.

Proceeds raised from Zoofari! 2021 will support renovations to the Louisville Zoo’s MetaZoo education facility and their Animal Ambassador Program. The program introduces animals to students and families during activities such as Safari Day Camps and virtual learning sessions, special events, community festivals and outreach experiences. Through continued conservation education with animal ambassadors, the Zoo will have the opportunity to introduce and nurture an appreciation for all species and our place in this world.
Friends of the Zoo would like to thank this year’s event sponsors for their dedication and continued support of Zoofari! To date, over $140,000 has been raised to support the MetaZoo renovations and Animal Ambassador Program.
