Interested in getting your start in wildlife photography? Concerned you know nothing about animal behavior or photo composition? Never fear, your Louisville Zoo is here for you!

Join us for a morning of learning the building blocks of great wildlife photography here at the Zoo. Zoo staff will walk you through animal behaviors to look for and times of day / seasons to watch out for different animals to get your best actions shots. Once you know what to look for in your subject, our friends from Murphy’s Camera will walk you through the basics of framing a shot and how to take advantage of your light. Designed for teens and adults with little to no wildlife photography experience, this session will take you outside the classroom and around the Zoo!
