To honor those who are serving and who have served our country in military service, the Louisville Zoo is offering active and retired military and their dependents FREE general admission on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. Those wishing to participate must simply have proof of military service (including but not limited to: U.S Uniformed Services ID Card, U.S. Uniformed Services Retired ID Card, current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), veterans organization card (i.e., American Legion, VFW), photograph of yourself in uniform, wearing uniform, DD214 and citation or commendation) and present it at the Zoo’s admission windows.

Our sponsor, T-Mobile will be on Zoo grounds from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with giveaways and information about their latest offer for military.  

In addition, on Nov. 11, 2020, active, retired military and their dependents (with a military identification card) will receive:

• 10%* off gift shop purchases (*certain exceptions may apply)
• 50% off food and drink concessions

Active military receive free admission year-round at the Zoo. Active military dependents and retired military receive 10% off admission year-round. Military personnel are encouraged to check with the Leisure Travel offices at their bases in advance of their visit for other available discounts.
