Shoe Recycling

Partner: WaterStep

Join us at the Louisville Zoo for an eco-friendly shoe recycling event with WaterStep where you can drop off your old shoes and help protect our environment. By recycling your used footwear with WaterStep, you are helping to provide clean drinking water to areas with water insecurity and those affected by natural disasters.

Help protect the planet!

The Louisville Zoo, in partnership with LG&E and KU Foundation, invites families and individuals to join Kids in Action, a initiative created just for kids and part of the Zoo’s Earth Month Celebration.

Kids in Action encourages children to design conservation projects for the benefit of their own community. The program also offers students a platform to share these projects with conservation minded individuals across the region.
