Prescription Drug Take Back
Partner: LMPD and Councilwoman Raymond and District 10
Bring your unused or expired medications to the Louisville Zoo bus lot for our Prescription Drug Take Back event, where LMPD officers will collect and safely dispose of them to protect our community and waterways. LMPD will accept any items related to prescription drugs or narcotics. All sharps must be capped or brought in a milk jug or similar sealed, plastic container.

Join us weekends in April to learn how recycling programs help our planet. Organizations and programs that help benefit the air, water, land, and of course, animals, will be featured each weekend.

| The Louisville Zoo, in partnership with LG&E and KU Foundation, invites families and individuals to join Kids in Action, a initiative created just for kids and part of the Zoo’s Earth Month Celebration. Kids in Action encourages children to design conservation projects for the benefit of their own community.
