Join us this holiday season for a PAWsome celebration: Qannik’s Beary Happy Holiday.

Throughout December, we’re transforming areas of your Zoo into a winter wonderland, complete with holiday-themed decorations and animal enrichment. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit and cure your cabin fever with an exciting month-long scavenger hunt — a perfect activity for the whole family. Participants who complete at least half of the game will be entered to win Zoo-themed prizes.

Create warm memories while you watch Qannik and her animal friends through the Zoo enjoy three weekends of festive fun with special holiday enrichment on December 7 – 8, 14 – 15, and 21 – 22.

We can’t wait to celebrate a Beary Happy Holiday with you and your loved ones!

Scavenger Hunt

December 1 – 31, 2024

Search for holiday-themed surprises around every corner and complete festive challenges to earn points in this mobile scavenger hunt game. Play for fun or compete to win PAWsome prizes like a Zoo membership, Zoo tickets, and more! FREE with Zoo admission.

How to Play

  • Using your camera-enabled smartphone or tablet, download the free GooseChase app. (Download on the Apple App Store or Google Play)
  • Enter join code “8QB8T7” and join the free game all December long.
  • Find hidden holiday surprises and complete other fun challenges during your visit.
  • Each correct answer will earn points. BONUS challenges will be available to be completed on weekends when additional festive fun is happening at the Zoo. Points may also be deducted for any wrong or inappropriate answers.
  • Score 150 or more points to be entered to win a prize!
  • Prize winners will be drawn at random at the conclusion of the event.
  • Winners will be notified of their prize winnings on, or before, January 10, 2024.

Rules

  • Do not cross any barriers when walking through our Winter Wonderland.
  • Do not move or remove any items from your Zoo.
  • Points will be awarded for each question, challenge, etc.
  • Submissions will be monitored and points will be taken away for incorrect or inappropriate answers.

  • (1) Festive Four-Pack: including 4 Zoo tickets, 4 carousel tickets and more

Extra Fun

Guests can stop by the Zoo’s Gift Shop, December 1 – 17, to write and send a letter to Santa at the North Pole.

Additionally, holiday elves will have special sweet treats available for purchase throughout the weekends, including fresh roasted s’mores, hot chocolate and cookie decorating the final weekend (Dec. 21 and 22).
