National Pollinator Week
June 20, 2022 - June 26, 2022

Did you know about 1/3 of the world’s food supply comes from flowers that are pollinated? Apples, grapes, and even tomatoes would disappear from stores if we didn’t have bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Pollinators help us everyday! It is time to raise awareness for pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to help them our pollinator pals.
Join us at the Zoo to learn about pollinators like monarch butterflies, fruit bats and more! Visit our Butterflies n’ Blooms exhibit to learn about monarchs and other native butterflies, their important role in our ecosystem, and how you can help them!
