Endangered Species Day

May 17, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Additional Support by Teddy Grahams

The Zoo is kicking of a whole weekend of activities celebrating its 50th year with Endangered Species Day! This day will host students from schools all over Kentuckiana who participated in our Conservation Campaign Challenge, finding ways to help the environment and inspire others to help!

Join us for a fun scavenger hunt. We will also have activity stations set up around the Zoo with volunteer educators and members of the Youth Advisory Committee.

The Louisville Water Company, Department of Public Works — Waste Management District, and Kentuckiana Air Education will be at the Zoo helping us learn more ways we can help our environment.

Don’t forget to stop and grab some treats generously provided by Teddy Grahams near the maned wolf exhibit and outside the MetaZoo entrance from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (while supplies last).
