Early Childhood Pop-Up: Young Zoologist

April 2, 2026 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Early Childhood Popups. Perfect for young learners, these new pop-up programs invite families and their children to play, observe and learn in new ways all while visiting the Zoo! Featuring photo of Polar bear.

Young Zoologist

Practice your observation skills and learn what it takes to be a zoologist. Find our young zoologist stations in the Islands Zone on Thursdays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to help us track the behavior of some islands mammals. We’ll work on our observation skills by marking where animals are in the exhibits and what they’re doing. Guests will also be able to test their knowledge by identifying different types of animal scat or tracks.
