Turn your observations into art at the Zoo! With help from Karl Anderson, Louisville native and visual artist, participants will have the chance to turn their observations of animal behaviors, movements, and personalities into personalized art pieces. Anderson is an independent commission artist as well as a theatrical set designer and scenic painter, having worked with Actor’s Theater of Louisville and the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. His current passion is animals and acrylic painting.
This class is designed for teens and adults interested in drawing nature from life and will combine a classroom session on technique with live observations and the chance to put your knowledge into practice.
*Cost of art materials included in the price of the session. You will be taking home a completed art piece and the materials to continue learning.
