FREE TO REGISTER! Connect with the Zoo  as we critically explore a variety of environmental and conservation issues. Participants will receive a discussion guide (including book, film, and podcast recommendations!) and access to a 60-minute live virtual discussion with Zoo educators. Join in on the discussion as we engage community members of all ages about conservation topics that are affecting the way we live in Louisville and how people live around the globe. Some sessions will feature guest speakers. View previous discussion guides here.

Topic: Ecological Restoration (Virtual Meeting)
Wednesday, Nov. 30; 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

On the path to ecological stewardship, it’s important to build connections with the natural world through research, education, and recreation. These are also key aspects of many organizations working in ecological stewardship — including your Louisville Zoo!

Join us this month as we hear from another great organization. Meet Evan Patrick, Natural Areas Manager at Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, to learn about the  state’s unique plants and animals as well as the work happening to restore Kentucky’s natural ecology.
