Title Image that writes Conservation and Conversations in bold. Below it smaller writes Vanishing Treasures. There is also an Image of the teal vanishing Treasures book. On that book the title is: Vanishing Treasures: A Bestiary of Extraordinary Endangered Creatures. On the book cover is also an image of a singular young wombat. The main text and book cover are on top of an image of a clear glass globe that almost looks like a bubble placed in the grass.

Discussion of “Vanishing Treasures” by Katherine Rundell

Join us March 26 at 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. for a discussion on this inspiring book of essays dedicated to 23 unusual and underappreciated creatures with a clarion call insisting that we look at the world around us with new eyes — to see the magic of the animals we live among, their unknown histories and capabilities, and above all how lucky we are to tread the same ground as such vanishing treasures.
