Conservation and Conversations: The Human Animal

September 22, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Sept. 22: The Human Animal

Join the conversation! Connect with ecology and wildlife conservation to critically explore a variety of environmental and conservation issues. Participants will receive a discussion guide (including book, film, and podcast recommendations!) and access to a 60-minute live virtual discussion with Zoo educators.

Humans are the biggest conservation threat facing the planet today. Learning about how we as Homo sapiens developed and how we as a species have affected the ecosystems around us can improve our conservation efforts going forward. This month, our conservation conversation will focus on exploring human beings and what we can do to help our planet recover.
