The Big Burn by Timothy Egan, Conservation Success Stories

Wednesday, Nov. 18: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Are you interested in the history of wildlife conservation in the United States? Do you have strong feelings about Theodore Roosevelt and Progressive era politics? Join us for a discussion of “The Big Burn” by Timothy Egan and decide for yourself if the National Parks were really America’s greatest idea. Our book discussion is designed for adults only — but the discussion guide included in the program cost will offer media suggestions and discussion questions suitable for children.
