Conservation and Conversations: Polar Bears International (Virtual Session)

Excited about polar bears? Join us this month as we celebrate international polar bear day and learn from the experts at Polar Bears International about the latest research and conservation efforts for these bears and the sea ice they depend on.

Dates: Final Wednesday of each month
Virtual sessions: Check dates for times. Sessions on Google Meet
Recordings available for registered participants upon request.
In-person sessions: Check dates for times and locations.
Cost: FREE with admission or membership to the Louisville Zoo.

Join the conversation! Talk with Louisville Zoo staff and knowledgeable guest presenters about a variety of conservation and environmental topics. Each month will focus on a different broad topic (like healthy ecosystem function or native plant management). Discussions will be guided by an expert guest presenter or a chosen book.

Participants will receive two to four emails per month with invitations to the monthly sessions, background information on topics and speakers, links to further learning resources and media recommendations, as well as opportunities to provide program feedback. You may request to be removed from our email list at any time.
