Animal Pumpkin Smash 2021

The animals at the Louisville Zoo will get a delicious and fun treat this Halloween as they receive special pumpkin enrichment during our annual Animal Pumpkin Smash this Sunday, October 31, from 10:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
The hundreds of pumpkins and gourds that previously decorated the grounds for Boo at the Zoo presented by Meijer will be given to the animals for Halloween enrichment. Animal enrichment is an important part of animal husbandry at the Louisville Zoo and promotes the expression of natural behavior. The full schedule is below (times are subject to change):
