Get ready for “Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too!” One of the city’s most unique and popular brew events is being reimagined for 2023.
Enjoy delectable catered food, delicious beverage tastings, animal encounters and special engagements with zookeeper staff. Plus, we’ll have entertainment including live music from MaryMary in the Oasis Field, oversized lawn games, and a silent disco in the Zoo’s shaded Islands habitat area alongside orangutans, tigers and more! Be sure to save room for late-night bites from local restaurants and businesses.
Funds will help support the Zoo’s planned renovation of the MetaZoo education building and Animal Ambassador Program.

Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too! is not your usual tasting event! Brew is a fundraising experience, hosted by Friends of the Louisville Zoo. This event raises funds for the advancement of special Zoo projects and initiatives that support species conservation and education.
Unlike other beer, food and wine tastings in town, this is your exclusive opportunity to celebrate wildlife and join like-minded adults who share a passion for animals, the Zoo — and food, beer and wine, too! A percentage of your admission ticket is tax deductible.

This must-do event has two options:
Early bird! (first 1,000 tickets): $115 per person
Price increases to $125 per person after all early bird tickets have sold out.
A percentage of your event admission ticket is tax deductible and will be noted on your ticket confirmation email. Event attendees must be age 21+.
The refreshed Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too! fundraising event will feature an all-inclusive, VIP guest experience for everyone – for 4 hours! Attendees can expect delectable catered food, delicious beverage tastings, animal encounters and special engagements with zookeeper staff. Plus, enjoy entertainment including live music from MaryMary in the Oasis Field, oversized lawn games, and a silent disco in the Zoo’s shaded Islands habitat area alongside orangutans, tigers and more! Be sure to save room for late-night bites from local restaurants and businesses.
Tickets for this unique experience that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the community go on sale Saturday, July 1, 2023, 10 a.m.
Proceeds from Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too! support the Zoo’s planned renovation of the MetaZoo education building and Animal Ambassador Program. Construction will begin this year and is expected to be completed in late 2024.
Your ticket gives you access to all catered food stations, drink tastings and specialty pours, entertainment (live music, oversized lawn games, silent disco), animal encounters, keeper talks, late-night food tastings.

This is a fundraising event to benefit Friends of the Louisville Zoo and their work to support projects at the Zoo. All sales are final. You can transfer your tickets to a friend (age 21+) through the Eventbrite ticketing platform or turn your purchase into a donation to the Friends of the Zoo. If your tickets become a donation, they will be 100% tax deductible.
Established in 1969, the Friends of the Louisville Zoo (FOZ) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission of “raising funds to protect a legacy.” The 100% volunteer-led Board organizes and hosts two events annually: Zoofari (June) and Brew at the Zoo with Wine and Food, Too! (August) to support special projects and the enhancement and expansion of the Louisville Zoo.
