This year, the Louisville Zoo is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Be a part of our community celebration: 50Fest!
There will be lots of activities for the whole family as you…
- See the Zoo’s amazing derby float.
- See our winning anniversary cake displayed.
- Meet our new animal mascots Leroy the rhino and Miles the giraffe. Snap a keepsake photo with Leroy, Miles and other animal mascots. (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
- Help us create a commemorative community photo mural (There is an additional $5 fee with proceeds going to help support animal care and conservation at the Louisville Zoo.)
- Play fun games
- Experience special animal enrichment viewing opportunities
- Enjoy anniversary treats for guests provided by Teddy Grahams (while supplies last)
- Share fun memories of over 50 years at the Louisville Zoo
- Collect your own commemorative 50th Anniversary swag at the Main Gift Shop including throwback tie-dyed apparel, cups, water bottles and more.
