Special ticket Required. (Tickets Now Available!)

Your Louisville Zoo is partnering with Flex Appeal to present the wildest workouts in town! Join us after the Zoo closes for your favorite workouts including, yoga, barre, boot camp, and Zumba! All fitness levels and abilities are welcome. Must purchase tickets online prior to the event in order to attend.

Each Class is only $25 (+ $2.50 SignUp Fee)

Because of the unique atmosphere and the terrain around the Zoo, closed toed shoes are strongly encouraged.  Be sure to bring a water bottle, with dates in July and August, we’ll have you sweating before the workouts even start!  The Zoo has several bottle refill stations around the Zoo so you should have a fill spot nearby!

YOGA (Snow Leopard Pass)

Strike a pose inspired by some of our animal inhabitants and escape from everyday life during our unique outdoor yoga class. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, our yoga classes are designed to help you increase flexibility, strengthen muscles, and improve your overall health and recovery.  Take in the beauty of our newest exhibit space, Snow Leopard Pass. You may catch a glimpse of one of the most elusive and graceful members of the animal kingdom.

BOOT CAMP CIRCUIT (Through the Zoo!)

Boot camp is a high intensity interval training style that will use body weight, free weights, and other equipment to raise your heart rate, burn fat, and tone up. This wildly unique circuit through the different exhibits of our Zoo will take you on a literal fitness journey around the world!

ZOOMBA (Glacier Run)

Join the party and dance yourself fit! Designed with interval training in mind, our unique Zumba classes combine simple dance moves set to a combination of fast and slow beats to give you a complete cardio and aerobic workout.  These fun workouts focus on moving to the beat and are perfect for beginners and all fitness levels.  No dance experience (or rhythm!) is required! Join us in the arctic inspired town of Glacier Run where you may see seals or sea lions splashing about and could even see a grizzly or polar bear wandering about the town.

BARRE FITNESS (Giraffe Savanna)

Using a combination of poses inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates we focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while focusing on working a select group of muscles) and combine them with sets of high rep range-of-motion movements to give you a workout that will help tone your body. Enjoy the beautiful African vista as you gaze across our giraffe yard where you may even see a lion in the distance or even a rhino nearby.
