Dates: February 20, 21; March 31; May 5, 16, 2023
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day
Ages: 6 -8 years old (Each day will feature one theme, but campers will be divided based on age)
Cost: $70 Members / $75 Nonmembers (per day)
Capacity: 15 children per group

Get ready for the wildest one-day adventure in town! We’ve packed the fun of camp into these engaging single day programs that feature our best-of activities from our most popular camps. New to camp? No problem! Single day camps are a great way to introduce your child to the Zoo’s camp environment.

Come for one or come for all! Camp activities will vary each day for families who would like to enroll their child in more than one day.

Feb. 20: Polar Opposites (SOLD OUT)

We spend a lot of time figuring out what animals have in common, but what about the things they don’t share? From slow tree-dwelling sloths to fast grassland lions, nature is filled with opposites! Learn about the duality of our planet by learning about what animals share, and what they don’t! Register here.

Feb. 21: Creature Features (SOLD OUT)

The most fascinating things about animals is the crazy features they have! Learn about some of the Zoo’s creature features and how animals use them to survive! Every feature has a purpose and those purposes may surprise you! Register here.

Mar. 31: Herp, Herp, Horray

Come party with the reptiles and amphibians at the Zoo! Herps have all kinds of crazy adaptations that help them survive. From regrowing body parts, to venom, to climbing up any surface, herps amaze and fascinate us all! Register here.

May 5: Animal Superheroes

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a… zooper Hero! Investigate high flyers, speedy racers, camouflage experts and some of the strongest animals on Earth in this camp that focuses on animals that are just in a league of their own! Register here.

May 16: Nature Connects (SOLD OUT)

Campers will explore the art of LEGO® brick building while creating their own LEGO® brick sculptures and discovering that nature has some builders of its own! Nature is full of connections and your camper will learn about some of the things that connect us to the natural world. Register here.
