Spring Camps
Spring Break Camps at the Louisville Zoo are the perfect addition to any child’s school break. Expand on your camper’s animal and science knowledge while they have fun! These camps include one child and one adult Wild Lights ticket, so your little one can experience all the fun of camp AND then together, you can experience unique landmarks, flora and fauna from six continents at the region’s largest lantern festival: Wild Lights: Around the World!
Nature’s Lights

Our world is filled with lights and colors, many we can see, and many invisible to human eyes. Discover the colorful world of nature and what these vibrant, or bland, colors mean and how animals use them to communicate. From the ocean depths to the skies above our world is filled with glowing creatures!
Color and Camouflage
Ages: 8 – 9

Animals use a variety of tactics to hide from predators or sneak up on their prey. One of the strategies animals employ is camouflage where they use colors, patterns, materials or even illumination to hide themselves from unwanted eyes. In this camp, we will explore how animals use color, patterns and their environment to hide in plain sight!
