Lessemsaurus (LESS-em-SORE-us) Plant eater, Up to 30 feet long, Late Triassic Period. 200 million years ago located in South America. Lessemsaurus was one of the last of the prosauropod dinosaurs that walked on two or four legs. After it came the true giants like the 110-foot Argentinosaurus. Lessemsaurus is named for explorer and writer “Dino” Don Lessem whose company created this exhibit.
