Do I need to buy an additional ticket to see the dinosaurs?

Dino Quest is included with regular Zoo admission. No special tickets are required to see these living, breathing robotic dinosaurs!

Do I need to wear a mask to attend Dino Quest?

Guests are not required to wear masks when visiting the Zoo. Please follow CDC mask guidelines in accordance with your personal health and vaccination status. More information about safety guidelines at the Zoo here.

How many and what kinds of dinosaurs do you have?

When does the event end?

This event runs until September 19, 2o21. Make sure you don’t miss out on the largest, most life-like dinosaurs ever displayed!

Are there photo opportunities with the dinosaurs?

The Louisville Zoo has several photo opportunities for guests visiting during Dino Quest.

Where are the dinosaurs located?

Our dinosaurs are spread throughout the Zoo’s 130-acre campus. During your visit, you can discover the locations of all of our life-sized dinosaurs, they are so large you can’t miss them!

How long ago did dinosaurs live?

Dinosaurs roamed the earth during the Mesozoic Era and dominated the land for more than 100 million years. Dinosaurs first evolved 245 million years ago during the Triassic Period, and roamed the earth until the Cretaceous Period which ended 65 million years ago. Most of the dinosaurs featured at the Zoo are from the Jurassic Period (200 – 145 million years ago) or the Cretaceous Period (145 – 65 million years ago).
