Completed construction projects

Black-Footed Ferret
  • Colobus Crossing has reopened, the red-tails are already back in the exhibit space and the colobus monkeys are soon to follow!
  • The black-footed ferret exhibit in the MetaZoo has just been remodeled! Come see one of the most endangered mammals in north America and learn about their inspiring conservation story which includes your Zoo!
  • The Conservation Carousel has been newly painted, and has 4 new mounts to try out. Take a spin when you drop by, the carousel is open daily except during inclement weather.
  • The lemur exhibit “The Ghosts of Madagascar,” is newly renovated! Swing by to see the lemurs‘ new home.
  • Construction is now complete for the sloth exhibit, which is now open! Come hang out with Sunni and Sebastian.
  • We have opened the new Outpost Playground! This inclusive playground includes ramps, music and sensory play panels, features for inclusive side-by-side play, slides and a new rubber surface throughout the entire playscape.
