To help the Louisville Zoo celebrate its 50th anniversary Comfy Cow has created a custom-made ice cream available in stores March 1 – October 31.
Polar Bear Freeze is made with a white chocolate ice cream, Oreo pieces and chocolate chips. It will be available in all five stores.
Comfy Cow has generously offered 20% of the proceeds of the sale of Polar Bear Freeze to the Zoo.
The Zoo is celebrating its 50 anniversary all year long. The big community celebration — 50Fest — is set for May 18 – 19. Guests can meet the Zoo’s new animal mascots including a new rhino and giraffe, plus grab photos with guest characters: elephant, lion, eagle and more. Guests can also see animals join the festivities with special enrichment treats, view some of the wildest birthday cakes ever seen and help the Zoo vote for the best design. Plus, enjoy anniversary treats (while supplies last).
