LOUISVILLE (January 4, 2022)  – Today, the Louisville Zoo announced the “Future Healers Got Zoo Buddies” program partnership as part of Christopher 2X’s Game Changers organization. “Future Healers Got Zoo Buddies” is an initiative created to explore the healing and therapeutic power of animals with young kids in our community who have experienced secondary trauma from violence. Three Little Penguins Hatched at the Louisville Zoo (Media Release)

The Louisville Zoo is celebrating three Little Penguin hatchings.

The eldest was hatched on October 28, 2021, to parents Miramar (mother) and Rabbit (father); the second chick was hatched on November 4, 2021, to parents Eudyptula “Tula” (mother) and Granite (father); and the youngest was hatched on November 15, 2021, to parents Clarkie (mother) and Boost (father).
