The Louisville Zoo Foundation exists to support special project and capital fundraising needs of the Louisville Zoo whose mission is to “better the bond between people and our planet.” The Louisville Zoo Foundation, Inc. is a 501©3 nonprofit organization (EIN number 31-0971742) and is governed by a Board of Trustees.

Foundation Board meetings are traditionally held the fourth Tuesday of the even months at 6 p.m. In-person meetings will be held in the Louisville Zoo’s Gheens Room unless notified otherwise.
