They are sent directly to your email so you can print them out or forward them to your gift recipient, making them fast, easy and convenient. The best part of about a Gift Voucher is that it only becomes an active Louisville Zoo membership when it is redeemed. This allows your recipient to decide when their year long membership starts and prevents losing time between when it is purchased and their first visit. Please note: when purchasing a Gift Voucher all the information collected is for you as the purchaser. You will be prompted to add a gift recipient name after completing your purchase. Terms and Conditions
- All activities are seasonal and subject to regular Zoo maintenance and the cooperation of weather and animals.
- Giraffe and Lorikeet Feeds— included in our experience level and above are digitally linked to your membership and must be redeemed by a named adult or caregiver on the account at the location with the cashier at the time of the feeding.
- Guest passes are one-time use during regular Zoo hours (not valid for special events such as Boo at the Zoo) and do not rollover after the current membership expires. Guest passes are valid for any age and must be used by a named adult on the account. Guest passes are digitally linked to your membership and must be redeemed online through the “My Benefits” section of your membership or at the ticketing windows before being scanned in at the gate.
- Unlimited Carousel Rides— included in our experience level and above are digitally linked to your membership and must be redeemed by a named adult or caregiver on the account with the cashier at the carousel before you are allowed to ride.
- Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase; early renewals begin the day after the current membership expires (no time is lost if you renew early).
- Children: Dependent children living in the same household ages 3 – 18 (2 – 18 for Kentucky Science Center Dual Memberships). Children 2 and under are free and do not count toward the number of children on any membership level for the Zoo. Children do not receive membership cards.
- Household: All memberships are designed for a single household (except in the case of grandparents). Memberships shared across multiple households may not be honored.
- At any time, your membership may be revoked due to misconduct at the Zoo or continued misuse of your membership or any benefits.
- Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Benefits are subject to change without notice.

- Memberships purchased in person, over the phone or online will begin the day they are purchased.
