Race on over for the WILDEST 5k in Louisville! Join us for an early morning adventure where you watch the Zoo wake up. This unique 5k course doesn’t just go around the Zoo but takes you on a safari directly “throo” the Zoo! Delight in the sights and sounds of a nature while you embark on a grand adventure that everyone can participate in – runners, walkers and animal lovers of all ages. Race fee includes a special finishers medal, commemorative t-shirt, post-race refreshments, door prizes, and a FREE admission ticket to enjoy the Zoo at a much slower pace! All proceeds from Throo the Zoo 5k help to support the Zoo’s mission to “better the bond between people and our planet.”

Let your imagination run wild and dress in your favorite animal costume! Runners with the most creative costume will receive a prize package from the Zoo and our sponsors. No registration is  required.
